   Apostles Creed

We believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ His only Son, our Lord; which was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell [that is, the place of the departed righteous]; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven; and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic [universal] church; the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and life everlasting.
Amen.

We Believe

1. We believe that the Bible is God's divinely inspired Word, accurate, authoritative, and applicable to every aspect of our lives. It is our rock, our comfort, and our guide, filling our hearts with hope and giving wisdom, understanding and knowledge. We trust in its teachings and seek to apply them to our lives, that we may be faithful followers which are living, breathing, epistles of Christ being transformed by His love.
( II Timothy 3:15-17)

2. We boldly declare our belief in the one true God, everlasting and unchanging in His power, wisdom, and goodness. As the Creator and Sustainer of all things, both seen and unseen, He is the very source of life. And in the beauty of His triune nature, there are three Persons - The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit who are three Persons of one substance totally love and completely holy. (I John 5:7; John 1:14; Luke 1:26-38; 1 John 4:16)

3. With reverence and awe, we declare our belief in the Son, the very Word of God, eternal and unchanging, of one substance with the Father, who took on human form in the virgin Mary's womb, uniting two natures - the divine and human - in one glorious Person, destined to suffer, crucified, dead, and buried, to reconcile humanity to the Father, making atonement for our actual guilt and original sin.

4. We proclaim with conviction that Christ has triumphantly risen from the dead, reclaiming His body and all aspects of human nature, and has ascended to heaven where He now sits in Majesty, as Glorious Unrivalled Lord, whose name is above all names and there sits, until He shall return to judge all men at the last day.

5. We believe in the divine power of the Holy Ghost, which flows from the Father and the Son, and is one with them in substance, majesty, and eternal glory. Who is eternal and very God.

6. We confidently declare that eternal life with God in heaven is a glorious reward for the righteous, while those who persistently reject Jesus Christ will face the regrettable consequence of eternal separation and unending torment in hell. (Matthew 25:46; Psalm 9:17; Revelation 21:7, 8).

7. As we sincerely repent (agree with God we have sinned) renounce (turn away from) our sin, that God as raised Jesus from the dead and, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ with all our heart, and entrust our lives to His Lordship, we will receive the profound blessings of forgiveness and the miraculous 'new birth' being redeemed from the kingdom of darkness and reconciled to God. (John 3:36; John 3:16; Romans 10:9; Ephesians 2:8; John 4:6; Colossians 1:13-14 )

8. We uphold the significance of the Baptism in The Holy Spirit, with the tangible evidence of speaking in other tongues. The diverse spiritual gifts that unfold, such as miracles, healings, and prophecy, are distributed by the Holy Spirit as He wills, fostering a deep spiritual life, power, boldness, and fruitful ministry.

9. Romans 5:1 declares the transformative power of justification by faith alone, a doctrine we ardently believe, teach, and safeguard as a beacon of spiritual liberation.

10. Through the precious blood of Jesus, we are gloriously delivered from the shackles of indwelling sin, justified before God, and empowered to live a life of purpose and victory!

11. With unwavering belief and unrelenting enthusiasm, we dedicate ourselves to fulfilling the Great Commission Given by Jesus on Mt. Olive. (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-20; Acts 1:8).

12. Divine healing is a testament to the miraculous power of the atonement, and we hold it dear as a source of hope and comfort.

13. With joy and anticipation, we hold fast to the promise of our Lord Jesus Christ's imminent return and with eager hearts, we await His glorious appearance (Thessalonians 4:15-17; Titus 2:13; 2 Peter 3:10-14; Matthew 24:29-44, 2 Timothy 4:8).

14. We are empowered by the belief that God has endowed each of us with unique abilities that enable us to glorify Him, contribute meaningfully to His Church, and positively impact future generations (I Timothy 6:11-13; Philippians 4:13; John; John 4:20-23; I Corinthians 12; Ephesians 2:10).

15. We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning and that is marriage sanctioned by God which joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture.

16. We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to only occur between a man and a woman who are married to each other.

17. We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman.
