Get a greater work in

When I read this, it was while I was studying an e course at #vladschool, I like many of us am trying to fill my lamp with oil, prayer has been a area that I struggle with. ( side note: do you see all the I's in this paragraph? This could be a sign of selflessness when we zero in on I, that can be how most of us pray). This has been my dilemma when praying it feels like I am presenting my Christmas list , and I know that this is an intimate time with Abba God that, Jesus gave all so that we can now enter boldly into His throne room , (Heb.4:16 NLT So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.), when the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to this qoute It was a revalation to me and a encouragement. Do you want to do a greater work? Is one of your Christmas request to serve in ministry? Do you struggle and want to know who you are or why your here. Prayer is the answer this is your greater work, ministry comes from your over flow. (1 Pt. 2:9 NKJV But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light), Peter revels to us that we are a Royal Priesthood (minister to God). The message here is to learn to pray, but establish a relationship with God not an education on prayer, do the greater work . remember the idiom :
Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.
Mark Twain
Its time to go to work, ENJOY !!
